- Only decent clothing is allowed.
- Wearing only underwear or a bikini is not permitted.
- Groins, breasts, nipples, and half of your buttocks must be covered.
- Clothes and jewelry that can damage the poles are not allowed. Participants violating this rule will not be allowed to enter the stage.
- Neglecting these rules will lead to penalties or disqualification by the jury.
Registered Competitors and authorised persons and personnel have access to the dedicated warm-up & changing areas.
Competitors are responsible for their own belongings. Magenta Dance SIA will not be responsible for lost or stolen property.
The Judges and Magenta Dance Championship have the right to disqualify a Competitor, if they have grounds to believe the Competitor breached any of the Rules.
The Judges’s decision is final.
Competitor must apply for a video pre-selection in their relevant Category and Pole Dance Experience.
By entering the competition: Competitor confirms he/she has entered the correct Category and Pole Dance Experience; and Competitor agrees to be bound by the Rules.
CATEGORY
1. EXOTIC POLE DANCE
Debut
- Competitors with Pole Dance Experience UNDER 1 Year
- Competitors must not have extra professional or dance experience
- Competitors perform FIRST TIME on stage
Amateur
- Competitors with 1 to 3 Years Pole Dance Experience
- Competitors must not have extra professional or dance experience
- Competitors are not coaches or dance teachers in dance or pole dance
Semi-Pro
- Competitors with Pole Dance Experience OVER 3 Years
- Competitors must not have extra professional or dance experience
- Competitors may be coaches or dance teachers in dance or pole dance
- Competitors hold Pole Dance “Amateur Category” 1st, 2nd or 3rd Place title
Pro
- Competitors with Pole Dance Experience OVER 3 Years
- Competitors must have extra professional or dance experience
- Competitors may be coaches or dance teachers in dance or pole dance
- Competitors hold Pole Dance “Semi-Pro Category” and “Pro Category” 1st, 2nd or 3rd Place title
Elite
Scoring and Awards
Olympic scoring system
Competitors will be judged according to Company standards
with a 5-judges panel. Judging will maintain an Olympic style points system, whereas top and
bottom scores are removed. The three remaining judge scores are totalled and produce
one final score.
Each Judge evaluates and scores each performance with a
maximum of 100 points based on the following criteria:
- Technique: max 30 points
- Choreography: max 30 points
- Presentation: max 20 points
- Musicality: max 10 points
- Overall Impression: max 10 points
Performance duration: up to 4 mins.
The 1st place title holders in each division and category will receive a cash prize of EUR 100 + Tropheys, Diplomas and Presents. Total Championship Cash Prize Fund - EUR 1,500!
The 2nd and 3rd place holders will be awarded with a Trophey, Diplomas and Presents.
